Our first foster, who was supposed to be a temporary foster, was for a dog named Clover. We decided to add her to our pack and she is now named Moose :D

Who is your current foster?
Our most recent foster was Babo, who was adopted recently and is now known as Reggie.
My family and I started volunteering for MPBR after we fell in love with this very misunderstood breed. MPBR exhibits true values and strong principles for all the pups it saves and we are honored to be a part of it.

How long have you been volunteering with Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue?
We are newbies :D We are in our first year with the rescue.
Do you have any pets?
We are newbies :D We are in our first year with the rescue.
We now have 2 dogs, Shilah who is a 13 year old beagle/bassett
and Moose who is an 8 month pittie mix. We also have a 6 year old cat, Lola.
Where is your favorite dog friendly place to take your doggo?
We love bringing our pups on car rides and up to
our neighborhood park.
Do you have a favorite memory with one of your fosters?
My favorite memory with Babo was waking up with him before my girls got up and enjoying "alone" time outside drinking coffee and playing in the yard.

Each month one of our foster pawrents receives a gift card as a thank you.This is our small way of showing appreciation for the dedication our volunteers have to this rescue. Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue is 100% volunteer based- no shelters here! Each dog we are able to save is because a foster is willing to open their home for us
