10.1.19 National Pit Bull Awareness Month *

October is National Pit Bull Awareness Month!

National Pit Bull Awareness was established in 2007 as a nationwide effort to bring positive awareness & attention to Pit Bulls & responsible owners.

The 26 dogs pictured above are all currently accepting applications. 6 of these dogs (outlined in orange, more on them below) have been chosen as October’s Dog of the Month & their adoption fees are waived. Please visit mnpitbull.com to learn more or click here to see more information on the dogs we currently have in our organization.

What exactly does 'Dog of the Month' mean, though?

Every month, Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue recognizes one dog that has been in our program a little longer than others to be listed as the Dog of the Month.  However, being that October is so special, we've selected 6! Amira, Coolio, Ted, Hera, Van, & Kaisa all deserve loving homes. We are crossing our fingers that October can be their month!

Not much is different other than their adoption fee is waived. That means the normal adoption process is still followed- references checks, a home check, and training at a facility of the adopters choosing is still required.
