2.17.21 New to MPBR- Meet Bella

 

She is officially ready to find her home

You've met her adorable puppies and now it's time to meet the mom, Bella!

Bella came into rescue with her 8 puppies, known as the Pitch Perfect Litter. She seemed too young for motherhood and appears ready to be the baby of the family. After becoming familiar with the resident dog in her foster home, they have become buds and typically spend the day playing tug and snoozing next to each other. She does have a rowdy playstyle so she would need a playmate that can match her energy (although she would do well as a solo dog too). Bella is a very sweet and happy dog that loves tummy rubs and just being with her people.

Kids: Bella is a big bouncy dog and will likely do best with older children that she can’t knock over.

Dogs: Bella loves making new doggy friends, but she can annoy them with her excitement. Proper doggy introductions and tolerant dogs recommended.

Cats: Bella has not been around cats or small dogs.

Meet Beca! She is another puppy from the Pitch Perfect litter who is officially accepting applications

Beca runs around playing hard for 10-20 minutes, then wants to take a nap (preferably on someone's lap). She loves playing and being with her foster canine sisters, however she would do just fine in a home as the only dog. She likes to sleep under blankets and is not a fan of the cold weather (is anyone really?). She goes out to do her business and runs right back in. She has been going into her kennel (but does not like it) and she has kept her kennel clean. She knows her name and follows foster mom around everywhere she goes. She is very loving and happy.

Macy is approximately 10-11 months old and loves playing tug & catch. She is house & kennel trained, does well with other dogs & even passed a feline test. She doesn't currently live with kids but would be best suited with ones that are older (she gets really floppy when she's excited and might knock down the little ones).

Carver Junk Company is excited to partner with MN Pit Bull Rescue for our "More Love" event Sunday, February 14th from 10:30am - 1:00pm! For a $20 donation you'll enjoy 15 minutes of unlimited kisses, snuggles and cuddles with adorable puppies. Select a 15 minute time that works for you by clicking here.

A few reminders:

• $20 donation is for 1-5 people max per group / per 15 minute time slot.

• Masks must be worn during the event.

• You will be asked to sanitize your hands prior to entering our workshop where the event will take place.

• Please include how many attendees will be joining you during your 15 minute time slot in the notes when purchasing.

• Please arrive promptly for your scheduled time.

• In an effort to keep everyone safe a booked time slot is required to visit with puppies. We will not be able to accommodate those without a reservation.

2.1.21 Dog of the Month- Adopt Laken

 

It’s February which means we have a new Dog of the Month, Laken!

Laken is a young Rottweiler that will need a knowledgeable owner. He is looking for someone who can provide structure and continued training. He will do best in a home without cats or children and can live with other dogs but will require structure during a long introduction as he has no dog manners (he currently lives with 3 other dogs but has a very knowledgeable foster). Laken is house trained & crate trained. Plain and simple, Laken will not be a dog meant for just anyone but we know there is a special someone out there for him. At just shy of a year old, he loves playing with his ball outside and is a goofy guy who wants your love. With dedication, he will be an amazing companion.
