Hi my name is Sonnie. I was born on 12/5/18. I am currently about 25 lbs. but will likely grow to be about 50-60 lbs. I have lots of energy and love to play hard and would do really well in home that has a yard I can run around in or someone who is able to take me for long daily walks. I love to sit in the sun and take in it's warmth. I am still working on controlling my natural puppy tendencies of teething but if you give me some great chew toys I will leave your stuff alone. I love to cuddle and would love to sleep with you but I am also okay sleeping in my kennel. I am fully kennel trained. I am pretty good with my potty training but I still have occasional accidents. I am good with kids but would do best with kids a little older (5+) as i am growing and tend to accidentally bowl over littles when I am playing with them. So far I have been very interested in other dogs and demonstrated good temperament around other dogs. I am working on my leash walking and getting better each day but could still use some practice. I also do well with cats! My current foster home has 2 male cats and they’re great. I am sweetness and spice all rolled into one! And did I mention I am adorable?!
Sonnie is our July Dog of the Month!
That means her adoption fee is waived-everything else stays the same. Training is required with any dog adopted through our rescue as well as a home check and two reference checks.
