7.11.18 Featured Foster- June Edition

Meet Caitlin & Greg!

Badger
Who was your first foster?
Our first foster was Badger in 2013. He ended up being a foster fail and has been a part of our family ever since! We started fostering again in March 2018 with Jill being our fist foster back in the game!

Calla
Who is your current foster?
Our current foster Calla, just went to her forever home (6/17/18)! Calla is such a sweet girl we are sad to see her go, but so happy she found her forever family!

Why did you start volunteering?
We started fostering to help other pups find loving families. Our boys love other dogs to play with and they are so great with puppies. The more fosters that are available, the more dogs that can be listed for adoption.

How long have you been volunteering with our rescue?
3-4 months

Do you have any pets?
We have two pitbull-mix boys, Homer (pitbull, hound, boxer) who is 5 and Badger (pitbull, boarder collie) who is 4.

Jill, Homer, & Badger

Where is your favorite dog friendly place to take your pooches?
We like to do play dates with our friends (and their doggos) and we love to take them camping.

When not surrounded by dogs – what can you be found doing?
Camping, golfing, outdoor activities, and games with friends.

Do you have a favorite memory with one of your fosters?
Calla
When Calla passed gas it was so loud! It would always make us giggle.

Do you have a special ritual for your fosters?
We give our boys extra snuggles since they have had to share Mom and Dad's attention. They love having new friends, but they also enjoy the peace and quiet of adoption.

BarkBox is a subscription service that is awesome for you dogs! You get toys & treats delivered right to your door every month!

Each month one of our foster pawrents receives a BarkBox as a thank you. This is our small way of showing appreciation for the dedication our volunteers have to this rescue. Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue is 100% volunteer based-no shelters here! Each dog we are able to save is because a foster is willing to open their home for us
