9.5.20 September Fundraiser

This summer has been expensive for MPBR and we are have a large balance with our vet office that we need to pay off in order to continue to help more dogs. Please help us pay this down in the month of September by being a daily sponsor for one (or more!) of these 4 dogs who had our largest bills.

We are able to save our dogs because of the support we have from people like you. We are happy to report each of these four dogs have been adopted and are living comfortably with their new families. 9.4.20 Kaisa Needs Us, Needs You!

Close to 20,000 views on her bio page but the search for Kaisa’s forever home continues.

Kaisa will be done with the inmate program soon which means we will need to find an Adopter or Foster ASAP. She has completed her 6+ weeks of board and train with

RR Professional Dog Training & Boarding

and she is a great dog with a ton of knowledge that will be passed down to her new owner.

As a reminder, along with the initial take home session on handling and her known commands, two more private training classes are included in Kaisa’s adoption.

-Kaisa is on a daily medication for anxiety that is 10 cents per pill (about $6 a month)

-she can not live with dogs*

-she can not live with cats

-she will clear a 6ft fence without a problem

-she has lived with children previously without issue however, opening/closing doors that lead to the outside world could be problematic as she could escape

*From Kaisa’s Trainer: Kaisa is use to wearing a muzzle and can interact with other dogs wearing one in a controlled environment. It’s really easy to take her on a walk, even if you live in an area where you’ll see other dogs. She’s also trained off leash and loves all people.

It is time for Kaisa to stop living in a kennel and start living in a home. Are you willing to share your home with her?

8.29.20 A Word from Kaisa

We’d like nothing more than to find an adoptive or foster home for Kaisa.

Kaisa has completed her 6+ weeks of board and train with RR Training and has continued another 6 weeks of training through the inmate program through Sturgeon Lake with the guidance of RR Training. She is a great dog with a ton of training knowledge that will be passed down to her new owner. Along with the initial take home session on handling and her known commands, two more private training classes are included either through RR Training or another trainer in your area. We want to set up Kaisa and her owner for success. She deserves a home that wants to keep her safe, happy, and loved as she goes into her older years in her forever home.
